FNCTNrecovery

  • Time: 45 mins
  • Schedule: Monday 1pm, Thursday 5pm
  • Class description: Repair, Regenerate, Rejuvenate.
  • Class size: 5 people

This class is designed to help your body recover from your lifestyle (training or otherwise!) excesses. It will involve a mix of movement and resistance exercises to help you recover optimally for your next training session.

A variety of equipment will be used such as foam rollers, reformers, kettlebells, medicine balls, power bands, swiss balls etc.

FNCTNmobility

  • Time: 45 mins
  • Schedule: Tuesday 1pm, Wednesday 5pm
  • Class description: become a “supple leopard”, as per Kelly Starrett’s mobility WOD structure.
  • Class size: 5 people

This class will target deficits in your mobility and help with overall tissue flexibility and joint mobility. It will act as a nice maintenance adjunct to people that train or play regularly. This will help contribute to reduced pain, injury prevention strategies, and will impact positively on overall sporting performance.

FNCTNstrength

  • Time: 45 mins
  • Schedule: Tuesday 5pm, Wednesday 1pm
  • Class description: Bodyweight and resistance upper and lower body strength will be targeted with proven scientific methods.
  • Class size: 5 people

This class has been structured to improve overall strength through the entire kinetic chain. This will involve techniques employed with our multi-professional athlete base so you will train like a professional athlete. This will target your needs and should help with improving overall body composition and strength, whilst optimising overall functional capacity.

A variety of equipment will be used such as foam rollers, reformers, kettlebells, medicine balls, power bands, swiss balls etc.

FNCTNcore

  • Time: 45 mins
  • Schedule: Monday 5pm, Thursday 1pm
  • Class description: Core stiffness and postural strength will be focused on to help with desk-bound individuals and athletes across any sport.
  • Class size: 5 people

This class has been designed to focus on different elements of core strength and stability. Exercises involving anti-rotational moves, static postures and hanging poses will be utilised to improve spine health and target the muscles of the back and core musculature. Core stability is crucial for everyday activity, from the smallest mundane movement to the most demanding sporting movement. Come work on your core stability through this class designed to challenge you in a variety of functional positions and movements.
